Abstract

This paper presents the small signal modeling analysis of non-isolated high voltage gain converter and simulation in closed loop. The small signal analysis of DC-DC converter helps to finding the operating point of high gain DCDC converter in steady state. The state space average model approach has been used to get the system matrix A, B, C and D which are used in transfer function calculation. In this converter, since the two identical inductors are used and the current and voltage values of inductors are same, hence the state variable matrix equation become simple by considering one large inductor and the order of state matrix is second order. The two types of high gain converter transfer function i.e. perturbation and control transfer function has been derived from small signal model. The controller gain parameters have been obtained from small signal analysis. The modeling of converter designed and simulated in closed loop using PI controller for ideal case.
