Abstract

A 67-year-old Chinese male was hospitalized due to the sudden onset of upper abdominal pain for 5h in the First Affiliated Hospital of Wannan Medical College.Emergency CT scan of the whole abdomen indicated that the wall of the intestine in the upper and middle abdomen was thin, with intestinal gas accumulation and dilatation, and a few gas-liquid levels were observed. The superior mesenteric vein and intrahepatic portal vein had gas accumulation, and the branches of mesenteric vessels were widely dilated and accumulated gas. There was a aneurysm in the arch of the aorta.the necrotic of small intestine was excised and end-to-side anastomosis was performed.we performed aortic stent implantation on the patient on the 10th day. The patient was discharged from hospital on the 15th day after the operation and recovered well.
