Abstract

Small amplitude dust acoustic solitons are studied in a magnetized plasma having two-ion species (hot and cool), electrons, and negatively charged dust grains. The charged dust grains are magnetized. It is found that both compressive and rarefactive solitons can occur in such a plasma system. The effects of the magnetic field strength, wave-propagation angle, particle densities, and temperatures on the soliton characteristics are investigated.
