Abstract

A slow neutron-sensitive scintillating glass optical fiber plate is coupled to an intensified CCD camera, working at standard TV rate and room temperature, for beam positioning and spatial distribution diagnostics. Results are reported about a thermal neutron beam, in the presence of a high gamma-ray background, which is removed by digital image subtraction.
