Abstract

Mr Slop read his esteemed Editor's new year's message with great reverence but some puzzlement. It began with a heartfelt plea for Mr Slop FRCS to show more respect in the coming year. Slop was confused when he read this because for the life of him he could not think what the great man was on about. After all, Slop had only written the truth about the Editor's irritable bowel syndrome and his widely known difficulty with wind. None of this is a surprise after the Council dinners that his Editor is forced, by nature of his elevated position, to attend on a regular basis.
