Abstract
In Mechanical engineering it is a relatively common case that existing designs and constructions are not optimal. Dynamic analysis of support structures of crane machinery is essential for the improvement of technical characteristics of portal crane. In a dynamic analysis, frequency analysis is the first stage in the evaluation of dynamic stability. In this sense, in this paper discusses the problem of free oscillations of the carrying structure of portal cranes.
