' t has been found that the usual methods of handling slenderness in reinforced concrete columns do not apply directly to prestressed concrete members because of differences in the moment-curvature characteristics. The PCI Committee on Prestressed Concrete Columns has been studying the question for some time, and the present paper is a review of the slenderness problem from that viewpoint.
