Abstract

The ground state properties of light nuclei are investigated by the Skyrme–Hartree–Fock approach with three sets of new force parameters SKI2, SKI3 and SKI4 [P.G. Reinhard and H. Flocard, Nucl. Phys. A 584 (1995) 467]. Calculations show that the Skyrme–Hartree–Fock theory with above force parameters provides a good description on the light isotopes except for some neutron-halo nuclei , and . Among the three sets of force parameters, SKI4, which has taken into consideration of the isospin dependence of the spin-orbit force, is the best one. Detailed comparison and analysis on the results are given.
