Abstract
Diffuse irradiation contours are drawn from the monthly mean daily diffuse radiation data of 51 widely spread locations in Spain. The distribution of average daily diffuse radiation throughout Spain is compiled in the form of 12 monthly maps. Yearly mean daily diffuse radiation values are calculated and isoradiation lines are presented. The isoradiation maps show clear north-south and east-west gradients in summer months. A mild north-south gradient can be observed in winter.
