Abstract

Background: Acinic cell carcinoma (ACC) represents approximately 3% of all adult parotid cancers. Reports in the literature describing skull base ACC are uncommon and limited to case reports. Herein, we describe the presentation, treatment strategies, and characteristics of disease progression for a series of 10 patients who developed primary parotid ACC with skull base involvement.
