Abstract
Dielectric Elastomer Actuators In article number 2213589, Kilwon Cho and co-workers report a flexible and skin-mountable vibrotactile-stimulator based on thin lateral dielectric elastomer actuators. The actuator shows a significant actuation at low operating voltage because of a laterally aligned dielectric multilayer structure with short dielectric distance and a soft elastomer/ionic liquid composite. The vibrotactile-stimulator covers a broad perception frequency/amplitude range of human skin.
