Abstract

The author describes the use of full-thickness, split-thickness, and pinch skin grafts by the dermatologist in the office (or hospital). The techniques stress simple, proved methods by which the beginner can teach himself. Biologic considerations are described. The results, complications, and indications are emphasized, with particular reference to the use of skin grafts in place of skin flaps.
