Abstract

The article presents the results of the study of the skin effect in coaxial conductors of pulsed facilities. The analytical expressions for skin parameters of the coaxial conductors are deduced, and the methods for measurement of these parameters are described by the example of coaxial cables. Transients in electrical circuits with coaxial conductors are researched, and the methods for computation of these transients are described. The measurements of pulse and high-frequency signals in the coaxial cables confirm the correctness of the proposed mathematical models and the computation methods.
