Abstract

Journal of American CultureVolume 4, Issue 3 p. 75-85 Skiing: The Worship of Ullr in America Janet Egleson Dunleavy, Janet Egleson Dunleavy Professor of English at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Among her publications she lists Design for Writing (1970), George Moore: The Artist's Vision, The Storyteller's Art (1973), The O'Conor Papers (with Gareth W. Dunleavy, 1977), and numerous essays and reviews in 19th and 20th century English, Irish and American literature. Between 1971 and 1978 she served as editor of The American Committee for Irish Studies Newsletter.
