Abstract

This study aimed to optimize the synthesis of silver nanoparticles mediated by Baicalin and sodium dodecyl sulfonate using Single factor experiment method and response surface methodology, to optimize their process parameters so as to prepare spherical silver nanoparticles with smaller particle size, and to compare the particle size of silver nanoparticles prepared under different conditions by comparing the wavelength of the maximum absorption peak measured by UV-visible spectrophotometer. Thus, the best synthesis program was determined. The average particle size of the silver nanoparticles prepared under the optimal conditions was 32.25 nm with high sphericity, and the silver nanoparticles synthesized under the optimized conditions were characterized by SEM, FTIR, particle size distribution and UV-vis.
