Abstract

The vibration spectra of the edge, mixed and screw dislocations, depending on the dislocation segment length, are considered. The value of Poisson’s ratio 1/3 is assumed. The normalized values of the eigenfrequencies and damping coefficients for different frequency numbers by equating the inverse matrix of dislocation oscillators generalized susceptibilities to zero were found. It is seen from the dependences obtained that in the case of a screw dislocation, the transformation of the dislocation oscillators generalized susceptibility poles occurs. For edge and mixed dislocations the transformation of the poles was not observed. This agrees with the results of the vibration spectrum orientation dependence study. The authors suggest that these differences are due to the presence of a screw dislocation quasilocal vibration branches.
