Abstract

The size characteristics of copper nanopowders obtained by the plasma-chemical synthesis are investigated by electron microscopy and X-ray diffractometry. Metallic and oxidized samples are investigated. The average sizes of particles and coherent scattering regions are determined and histograms of size distributions for particles and coherent scattering regions are plotted. The size characteristics of nanopowders before and after oxidation are compared.
