Abstract
By virtue of Shukla's well-known bilateral ψ 8 8 summation formula and Watson's transfor-mation formula, we extend the four-variable generalization of Ramanujan's reciprocity theorem due to Andrews to a six-variable one. Some novel variants of Ramanujan's reciprocity theorem and q-series identities are presented.
