Gomphandra bracteata is restricted to southern Palawan, G. coi and G. psilandra are from Luzon, G. fernandoi is found in the eastern Visayan region, and G. dinagatensis and G. ultramafiterrestris occur on Dinagat Island. A new subspecies, Gomphandra luzoniensis subsp. septentrionalis, from the northern Philippines and Taiwan, is distinguished.
