Abstract
In this paper, the simulation and measurement results of 64-way substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) power splitter/combiner suitable for 1024 ( 32×32)-element active phased array antenna (A-PAA) with modular architecture are presented. In the design, the structure of SIW feed has 64 outputs with separation equal to 2λ0 (λ0: free-space wavelength @ 20 GHz). The measured results shows an average insertion loss less than 2.5 dB with phase variation less than 10 deg. over the operating bandwidth 18.6-20.2 GHz.
