Abstract

This study aimed to identify available scientific evidence on the care and protection networks of children in situations of intrafamily violence. This Integrative Review of the literature was based on prisma extension guidelines. Review question: What are the results available in the literature about aspects involving children in situations of intrafamily violence? LILACS, IBECS and MEDLINE databases were used. We included 10 studies between 2017 and 2020, 40% Brazilian, 20% Canadian, 20% American, 10% Spanish and 10% Dutch. Evidence level, 50% evidence II, randomized controlled study were related; 30% evidence IV, cohort study; and 20% evidence VI, qualitative study. Narrative analysis was identified with three thematic approaches involving intrafamily violence. The literature presents forms of intrafamily violence and strategies to deal with the situation. This study provides an understanding of how notifications become important instruments for the reduction of child violence.
