Abstract
Principles and methods to reveal a line structure in inhomogeneously broadened absorption and luminescence spectra of organic molecules in solutions by means of selective laser excitation are briefly described. Examples are given to demonstrate new possibilities of fine spectroscopic studies of complex molecules.
