Abstract

Engineering of site density in single-atom catalysts holds promise for modulating catalytic performance. In the April issue of Chem Catalysis, Wu and co-workers discovered that optimal site coverage of Pt1/CdS greatly accelerates H2 production in the photocatalytic hydrogen evolution reaction. Moreover, they quantitatively determined the maximum influence zone of each Pt atom.
