Abstract

This research is motivated by the need for a wireless lighting control system, thus further increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of time by the community. Which is the conventional lighting control system as it is today, by pressing the switch on each wall of the room takes quite a lot of time and energy. To overcome this problem, a wireless control system was made using the ESP32 wifi network. The ESP32 wifi network is quite capable of controlling all lights in a house, because the ESP32 wifi network coverage can reach a distance of ± 20 meters, the ESP32 wifi network is used to transfer data between an android smartphone to an arduino microcontroller, an arduino microcontroller is used to control relays that are connected to all lights in every room of the house. At this time almost everyone uses an Android-based smartphone, Android-based smartphone is considered effective enough to control electrical appliances at home such as lights because Android smartphones are used all day by the community.
