Abstract
Domestic economic growth in Indonesia has increased by 5% per year in the four year period of the implementation of the RPJMN (2015-2018). The Department of Manpower and Industry of Cilacap district has had IKM data that have been recorded manually using books. The problem that occurs is the agency difficulty in finding data as well as difficulties in monitoring the development of turnover, production capacity, assets, as well as the number of workers that change very quickly. Based on these problems, it is necessary to create a center-based small and medium industry information system to manage small-based center industries. This research uses the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method. The results of this study are the existence of an information system that is able to manage data of small and medium industries based on centers, the ability to find data quickly, and the ability to monitor developments in terms of turnover, assets, production capacity and number of employees.

Perkembangan teknologi Informasi yang cepat membuat instansi pemerintah harus menggunakan teknologi yang tepat dalam mendukung proses bisnis yang berjalan. Perkembangan industri kecil dan menengah di Kabupaten Cilacap tahun 2016 tumbuh sebesar 4%. Penelitian lain berjudul Sistem Informasi Berbasis Web Untuk Monitoring dan Evaluasi Sentra Industri Kecil di Jawa Barat studi kasus pada IKM kerajinan alas kaki. Pemetaan IKM menggunakan SIG sangat membantu terutama Dinas Perindustrian Kabupaten Kudus untuk pengelolaan data IKM (Industri Kecil dan Menengah) sekaligus menandai lokasi usaha. Bagi pemilik IKM di Kabupaten Kudus dapat melakukan update data secara online sehingga bermanfaat dalam peningkatan daya saing industri. Jika dibandingkan dengan penelitian sebelumnya Sistem Informasi yang akan dibuat berbasiskan Sentra Industri (Kelompok) sehingga dapat memudahkan pengguna mengetahui perkembangan IKM sesuai dengan kelompoknya berdasarkan nama, alamat, aset dan omset. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah membangun Sistem Informasi IKM yang mampu memudahkan user dalam memanajemen serta monitoring IKM 2. Metodologi dalam penelitian sistem informasi industri kecil menengah berbasis sentra ini melalui beberapa tahap. Jika pengujian sesuai maka proses akan selesai namun jika pengujian tidak sesuai maka akan dilakukan pengulangan dalam tahapan sebelumnya
