Abstract
This paper includes the basic results of sinkhole modeling wish use special analogue materials. Natural and experimental investigations of sinkhole development have been carried out since 1982. Experimental investigations are based on selection of special analogue materials. These materials have enabled to simulate the process of sinkhole development from the karst cavity roof destruction to sinkhole formation on the earth surface. It has been determined that the karst cavity roof destruction leads to the first intermediate cavity formation in the cover ground. Then arch destruction of the first intermediate cavity leads to the second intermediate cavity formation, etc., include sinkhole formation on the earth's surface.
