Abstract
If Dyakonov surface-wave (DSW) propagation can be guided by the planar interface of an isotropic dielectric medium and a uniaxial dielectric medium with its optic axis lying wholly in the interface plane, then a Dyakonov–Voigt surface wave can propagate in at most one direction within the angular sector for DSW propagation.
