Abstract

A crucial bottleneck hampering the application of immobilized catalysts is their reduced catalytic activity. In article number 1905950, Tao Tu and co-workers describe the preparation of porous organometallic polymers with atomically dispersed metal centers and hierarchical pores by direct knitting of privileged N-heterocyclic metal complexes. Dramatically enhanced catalytic activity (750 times higher) and selectivity in both dehydrogenation and hydrogenation reactions is demonstrated.
