Abstract

The single-beam shearing interferometry with high-frequency phase-type blazed grating for measuring the slope and curvature contour fringes of bending plates is presented. As it is characterized by excellent fringe contrast, high sensitivity and extensive range, this method is effective for plate bending problems. Two examples of application to the clamped circular bent plate and the rectangular bent plate with edge notch are given.
