Abstract

Flexible electronics are being broadly explored for their potentially extensive applications in various sectors, such as the internet-of-things. Among these electronic devices, flexible touch sensors play a leading role in soft touch screens and other human-machine interface technologies. Here, we report that by integrating triboelectric field-effect touch sensors with single-walled carbon nanotubes, touch sensitivity can be enhanced; the response of this device is almost 5 times greater than our previously reported devices. This high performance enables this type of flexible sensors to be made into touch panels.
