Abstract
In this paper, we introduce new type of similarity measuresfor single valued neutrosophic sets based on hyperbolic sine function. The new similarity measuresarenamely, single valued neutrosophic hyperbolic sine similarity measure and weighted single valued neutrosophic hyperbolic sine similarity measure. We prove the basic properties of the proposed similarity measures. We also develop a multi-attribute decision-making strategyfor single valued neutrosophic set based on the proposed weighted similarity measure. We present a numerical example to verify the practicabilityof the proposed strategy. Finally, we present a comparisonof the proposed strategy with the existing strategies to exhibit the effectiveness and practicality of the proposed strategy
