Abstract

Aiming at the problem that the double terminal detection point clock is not synchronized for the double terminal traveling wave method commonly used in hybrid line fault location, this paper proposes a single terminal fault location method for hybrid lines. The section positioning threshold is calculated by inversely calculating the formula of the modulus wave velocity to determine the section where the fault is located, thereby realizing the single terminal method fault location of the hybrid line. EEMD can solve the modal alasIing problem of EMD to achieve adaptive decomposition of signals, but introduces noise interference. For this issue, this paper proposes SDEO to demodulate the EEMD-decomposed traveling wave signal. Noise interference can be avoided while preserving wave head information to achieve accurate extraction of the wave head. The simulation results show that the proposed method can effectively solve the problem of hybrid line ground fault location.
