Abstract
{HB(Butpz)3}Mg(OEt) in CH2Cl2 at 22 °C acts as a catalyst precursor for the fast, stereoselective, ring-opening polymerization of L,L-dilactide by the acyl cleavage mechanism yielding isotactic poly(L,L-dilactide) with PDI ≈ 1.2.
