Abstract

We propose a novel combination of coherent detection with single-pixel imaging to produce, for the first time, single-pixel full-field simultaneous spatial and velocity imaging. We experimentally demonstrated that both a clear spatial image and a clear velocity map can be created at a low sampling rate using the compressed sensing algorithm. The experimental setup can measure speeds from 2.66 cm/s to 1327.34 cm/s at an resolution of 2.66 cm/s. This dual-modality proposal expands the range of applications for single-pixel imaging.
