Abstract

Aiming at the problem of single-phase short-circuit fault in high-voltage transmission lines, a phase selection method based on modified estimated ratio is proposed. This paper analyzes the amplitude characteristics and topological variation characteristics of voltage innovation when single-phase short-circuit fault occurs, and proposes a voltage innovation start criterion. Then, according to the innovation characteristics, the positioning problem of short-circuit fault is equivalent to the search of fault potential source, and a method of single-phase short-circuit fault phase selection based on modified prediction ratio is proposed. The example verifies the feasibility and correctness of the method.
