Abstract
Single incision laparoscopic surgery is now chosen as a surgical route for increasingly diverse types of cases. We present a case of a 48 year old female with menorrhagia and secondary anemia as well as a large broad ligament fibroid who desired hysterectomy. Large lateral fibroids are one of the few reasons that can preclude a successful laparoscopic hysterectomy. We demonstrate how this was accomplished successfully in this case via single incision laparoscopy.
