Abstract

Single‐drop microextraction (SDME) and gas chromatography microelectron capture detection (GC‐μECD) methods for the determination of four fungicides (chlorothalonil, triadimefon, hexaconazole, and diniconazole) in water and wine were developed. The main parameters affecting the performance of SDME, such as selection of solvent, extraction time, organic drop volume, stirring rate, and salt concentration, were optimized. The relationship of the measured signal was a linear function (>0.993) of concentration. Using chosen procedure in the concentration range of 0.01 to 50 µg l−1(chlorothalonil 0.01 to 25 µg l−1) the detection limits of the determination of studied pesticides in water were in the range of 0.006–0.01 µg l−1(S/N=3), the relative standard deviations (RSDs) <8.6, and the enrichment factors >56. The SDME‐GC‐μECD method was performed in natural water, wine, and the recoveries were acceptable.
