Abstract
The single crystal growth of the transition metal antimonates with the general formula AB 2O 6 (A=Mn, Co, Ni, and Cu) is reported. V 2O 5 was used as a flux. Additives such as B 2O 3 and Na 2O had a pronounced effect on the crystal growth, yielding larger and better faceted crystals than with pure V 2O 5.
