Abstract

Introduction: Ponds fracture is a common presentation in the young age group. It is not present in elderly patients because of the rigidity of the bone. Methods: In this case report, we are describing a repair of the ponds fracture in elderly patients with an elevation of the fractured segment with a single burr hole. Results: There was complete resolution of the continuity of the bone with 100% elevation of the bone. Conclusion: To our knowledge, pond fracture is not found in elderly patients and this is rare, so we tried to present it with the pictorial representations.
