Abstract

The cross‐sections for single and double charge exchange have been measured for Arq++H2 for q=6, 7 and 8. The single charge exchange cross‐section can be modeled by a combination of the Langevin cross‐section for the low energy region and the Muller and Salzborn scaling law for the higher energies. Good agreement was found for charge states 6 and 7, for 8 the experimental data was slightly lower.
