Abstract

This article analyses the reasons for Singapore's economic growth and examines the future for the economy in the 1990s on the assumption that government and business continue to pursue a policy of export-driven growth. The authors examine the comparative advantages and disadvantages of Singapore and propose a strategy to see Singapore through the next decade.
