Abstract

Learning a foreign language in Russian non-linguistic universities is not an end in itself. The main task in non-linguistic universities is to teach students the skills of communication in a professional environment. Modern pedagogical practice has a wide range of methods that meet the modern goals of teaching a foreign professionally directed language. One of these is the Singapore method, which has incorporated the best experience of teaching practice. This report reveals the essence of training structures that are effective in the introduction, consolidation and control of educational material in higher educational institutions of non-linguistic profile, when teaching a professionally oriented language through problem and game teaching methods.
