Abstract

This paper proposes a Simultaneous Wireless Power and Data Transfer (SWPDT) system using parallel injection communication method. The characteristic of multiple resonant frequencies in high-order topology is utilized, and the multiple frequency-shift keying method with sinusoidal carriers of different frequencies is used for data modulation. Based on the equivalent circuit models of the power channel and the data channel, the transmission performance of the power topology S-P is analyzed and the voltage transmission gain function of the data channel is calculated to obtain frequencies at maximum voltage gain. In addition, the crosstalk between the power channel and the data channel is derived. Finally, a simulation model with stable output power of 170 W and data rate of 28 kbps is built, which verifies the validity of the theory.
