Abstract

Introduction: Simultaneous surgery for synchronous colorectal cancer liver metastases is controversial. Studies suggest that simultaneous surgery can reduce the number of complications, hospitalization and patient suffering. Some data suggests a shorter time to recurrence with this method. This study was performed to compare postoperative outcomes and survival rates in patients who underwent simultaneous or 2-staged resection.
