Abstract

We report a case of simultaneous injury of right external iliac artery and vein by a needle carrier that was inserted from the suprapubic area down to the vaginal lumen during anterior vaginal wall sling procedure. The risk factors and measures to be taken to avoid this life threatening complication are discussed.
