Abstract
In this paper, the inversion method is used to simultaneously reconstruct formation resistivity and boundary location per bed from the phase induction logging data. The inversion equation is obtained by applying the variation principal and the phase difference response equation in a two-dimensional axisymmetrical inhomogeneous medium. The inversion result of synthetic data shows the validity of this inversion method.
