Abstract

A method for simultaneous separation and quantitation of esters of vitamin A and vitamin E by normal phase high performance liquid chromatography was developed. Clinical application of this method for nutritional assessment of human milk indicates that it has quantitative advantages for routine acourate determination of esters of vitamin A and vitamin E isomers present in complex biological extracts.
