Abstract
Due to popularity of the ultralight-weight sandwich structures in industrial applications, exploring the effect of various factors on their thermomechanical shock resistance is of high importance. To this end, the current research is dedicated to assessing the thermoelastic reaction of the annular-shaped sandwich sector plates with nanocomposite face-layers reinforced with nanosized graphene-platelets (GPL) against intensive thermomechanical shock. The general format of linear thermoelasticity theory is implemented to declare the basic relations of the system. The thermal energy balance of the system is expressed according to the Lord-Shulman theorem. Laplace transform is employed to map the time-dependency of the system’s equations into Laplace realization.
