Abstract
1. Methods have been developed to carry out the simultaneous and separate determination of carbon, hydrogen, halogen or sulfur by deflagration combustion. 2. The presence of elements in the molecule which form nonvolatile oxides during combustion does not prevent the C and H being determined. 3. The method gives good reproducible results with an error in determination which does not exceed ±0.3%.
