Abstract
AbstractThe conventional gold disk electrode was applied for simultaneous determination of As(III) and Hg(II) in the media of KCl 0.1 M + HCl 0.1 M. The optimal accumulation time, the repeatability of the electrode and calibration curves were determined by DPASV technique. The electrode works stably with RSD 4.01 % and 2.98 % for As(III) and Hg(II) respectively and showed a wide linearity in the concentration range of 1‐60 μg/L of both heavy metal ions. The obtained LODs were 0.096 ppb for Hg(II) and 0. 307 ppb for As(III) with 420 s of accumulation time in case of simultaneous analysis.
